"Axe" uses Chinese characters as the carrier of the gameplay, based on the ancient mythology; the protagonist controlled by the player is an incarnation of a small axe left behind by Pangu, whose mission is to help mythical characters such as Pangu and Nüwa complete the mythological story.
There are two different worlds in the game: one is the real world, and the other is the inner world composed of words; in the inner world, players can collect Chinese characters and split and reorganize the Chinese characters. The Chinese characters in the inner world will follow their own meanings. Impact on the real world; players will rely on this impact to solve puzzles in the game.
